What Is Good Book Cover Design? Vol. 1

This video features some of the book covers that Book Cover Design has created over the years. The music comes from a bonus track on Paul McCartney's 2007 Memory Almost Full—An instrumental track called In Private. I must like it because it’s the 2nd most played song on my computer according to the “Top 25 Most Played Songs.” I hope you enjoy the video!

A Brief History Of American Illustration - Do you remember the time?

With the advent of AI, royalty-free, and apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom, it could be said that wet media illustration has gone out of vogue over the past few years. Nevertheless, there are times when a good oil painting is perfectly appropriate for a book cover, even today. This video showcases some of the finest illustrators through the past 100 years, all of whom I am a big fan of and some of whom I have even met. It’s set to the tune of Amy Grant’s Do You Remember the Time, which features Stevie Wonder and Vince Gill. I hope you enjoy this video slideshow.
