What is the pricing?
The design fee for the front and back cover + spine is $400.
This includes:
- Paperback or Hardcover + Ebook cover
- At least 1-3 front cover design options to choose from
- Free 3D book cover image for your marketing
- Complete production consultation
- Design elements such as photos and illustrations are included at no additional charge
Other Frequently Asked Questions: What is the payment process?
Payment will be accepted up front by VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or Cash App. Upon agreement, you will receive an invoice in your email inbox, from which you can pay with just a few clicks. This will help to get the whole design process started. Or you can send a check by US mail if you prefer. The payment method is totally up to you.
What about guarantees, rights, and royalties?
All designs come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. All rights, such as copyright and advertising, are included. And full ownership of the final design. Book Cover Design will have no royalty on future sales for the paper or digital version. If the cover has to be redone in a different language, it may be subject to an additional charge.
What about interior text?
Book Cover Design no longer offers interior formatting, but KDP will format the interior for you at no charge, for your paperback, hardcover and Ebook. Who does Book Cover Design recommend for printing and distribution?
Book Cover Design recommends Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) www.kdp.amazon.com. It is likely the most popular and well-known printer/distributor for independent authors. One of the important things about KDP is that it is associated with Amazon. Probably more books and Ebooks are sold through Amazon than any other source. This speaks well for your potential future book sales. As I understand it, KDP will handle all your royalties for you and will regularly send your royalty income directly to you.
